Experience
Julia Heaney has a breadth and depth of experience in the legal and business realms.
Over the past 10 years Julia has worked as a Barrister for Kings Counsel and other Senior Counsel assisting with large, complex commercial matters. She started out working in law firms before moving to private practice. Julia sits on two boards; a manufacturing business overseeing employment, raw material procurement, production, compliance, and sales; and a family office overseeing the management of $60m of property assets, while considering future investments.
Julia’s experience has shaped her into a pragmatic and practical advisor, equally comfortable in the Court room or alternative dispute resolution, preferring to settle disputes before they get to Court. Julia focuses on effective communication to understand the desired resolution, and how to achieve those goals in a strategic, efficient manner. Julia has a keen eye for detail and doesn’t miss a beat which makes her a formidable legal representative.
